Meet the minds behind Nordic Perfumers – Ole Johnsen and Kathryn Brown. Their journey began with the delicate art of tea-flavoring, working with essential oils like bergamot, peppermint, rose, as well as extracts, fruits and flora. This expertise in blending scents for tea naturally evolved into a fascination with the broader, more intricate world of perfumery, to explore beyond the realm of taste and venture into the rich, layered landscape of perfume.

The catalyst for Kathryn in this transformation was the Grasse Institute of Perfumery.  The experience unlocked a new realm of possibilities – from calming woods to sensual musk, the ability to create and bottle memories and dreams was, to Kathryn, nothing short of a superpower.

It can be the scent of sweet pomelo in full season in Taiwan, the arid breeze and palm trees at nightfall in Los Angeles, or the glisten of your skin as you bask in the warmth of the sun in Capri – every fragrance is crafted from the moments that make up our lives and the tales of journeys yet to be.

MADE WITH HEART

All products are hand-crafted with heart. Our perfume oils are infused, bottled, and labelled personally with care, and our candles are wicked, blended, and hand-poured individually. From formulation to packaging, we make sure at every stage that our products reflect the ethos of something hand-made, cared for, and loved.
